The Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board is a vast area, encompassing urban and rural settings in two municipalities - Cape Breton Regional Municipality and Victoria County. It covers approximagely 3,238 wquare kilometers and has over 19,000 students in 56 schools.

Additionally, the Board has developed "state of the art" technology laboratories with a district-wide computer network system.
