Six international students attend Forest Heights Community School. They are from Brazil, Japan, Germany, Italy, and Ecuador. These students have formed a really close bond. Three of these students were quite homesick after they arrived. Their host families recognize this and through getting the students together, talking with their students, they were able to help them overcome their homesickness. It's amazing to see how the host families communicate with each other on a lot of aspects of hosting so they’re all able to encourage and give suggestions to each other so everyone is having a great experience.
