Nova Scotia International Student Program (NSISP)

The Nova Scotia International Student Program (NSISP) has offered international students an unparalleled public education and immersion experience for 25 years. The NSISP accepts students from grades 7-12. Individual students can study for a semester, an entire year, or multiple years in either English or French. Students can begin in September or February. Student groups can participate in short-term programs (2-10 weeks) starting at various times throughout the year.

The NSISP manages its homestay program. Students live with carefully selected Canadian homestay families and are encouraged to participate in the many extracurricular activities offered in their schools and communities. NSISP students can choose from various subjects within the Nova Scotia curriculum and fully integrate them into the schools they attend. The NSISP annually attracts more than 1500 students from 35 countries who study in 65 of the provinceā€™s public schools.
